I have been spectacularly busy as of late, lots and lots of freelance work to do and a very busy schedule in general. I have also just started playing Civilization V and I’m pretty hooked. LETHAL game.
Anyway, the big news in my life is that last week I discovered I have been offered a job by very exciting company in Central Brighton. I’m absolutely delighted and I can’t wait to start in just over a week. I will get the chance to utilise some of the skills from my beloved NCTJ course, including interviewing, writing (of course), creating layouts, video shooting and editing and lots of other fantastically exciting tasks! I honestly cannot wait, as my new workplace is in a brilliant location and I will also be tantalisingly close to the wonderful Rachel.
However, this doesn’t mean I will be giving up all my freelancing. While unfortunately I won’t be able to add any new projects to my freelancing schedule, I am more than happy with the ones I will be keeping. I have developed a real talent for juggling my time, and hope to maintain this over the coming hectic period.
Tomorrow evening I am off to London and will be going to London Zoo. Naturally, I am ecstatic, particularly because of the cute little penguins and the great apes.
For now, though, I must tackle some freelance work before another stint on Civ V. I can’t help myself. If you have a Steam account and want to show me the ropes, come find me – my username is Kayabunny! Yep, I know, a really serious gaming name there.
