Hello!

I’ve been crazy busy recently and nothing is showing any sign of slowing down at all. In fact, it’s all about to explode with the BIG WORK CHRISTMAS PARTY (my first ever office Christmas party! It’s finally happening!) which looks amazing and various other festive events to look forward to. This weekend I’m chilling and roaming in Brighton, then the weekend after I’ll have TK down to Brighton (my house now resembles a grotto) for festive frolics and then obviously IT’S CHRISTMAS. I’m working until Christmas Eve but then we get some days off until 2nd January, which will be so great.

Some other exciting news is that I’m going to have an article published in a magazine for the first time in a long time in the next couple of months. It will be in an e-learning industry magazine, and I’ll share the link once it’s out. It’ll be my first published piece for my current company and I can’t wait to see it. It’s been a while since I’ve had time to write anything for publication, so it’s nice to be back writing features again, but this time for a real purpose. 

I guess the other news is that next Wednesday, I’m going under the scalpel again for my second eye operation. I’m dreading the operation but can’t wait for the outcome. I forget what it feels like to have clear vision and real depth perception. I think it’ll make a big difference to my life and I’m looking forward to the results, supposing it all goes well.

OK I have a huge pile of magazines to read now so I’m going to totally vegetate and do that. Imagine having time to read a whole magazine from cover to cover – amazing!
