Hello Hygge on Norway’s TV 2!

It just keeps getting more and more exciting for Hello Hygge… this morning I was invited to appear live on TV 2’s God Morgen Norge (Good Morning Norway) to talk about hygge in Britain!

Kayleigh Tanner from Hello Hygge live on TV 2's God Morgen Norge

You can watch the recording hereΒ (my part starts at around 3.45, but of course if you speak Norwegian it’s worth watching the rest of the clip).

Thank you so much to TV 2 for having me, and congratulations to me for not swearing, having a laughing fit or doing anything else utterly ridiculous on live television.

    1. Thank you! I’m so happy it went well (not that I can bring myself to watch it, but people who have have said nice things so I assume it wasn’t horrendous!)

    1. Thank you! πŸ™‚

  2. Congrats on your TV appearance πŸ˜‰
    You did great!
Thanks for sharing your insights about Hygge. I love this concept since the first day I discovered it. Although I was born and raised in the Caribbean, I can relate to Hygge very much. Dominicans love to gather with friends and family often and find great contentment by doing that πŸ˜‰
I also just discovered the Swedish concept of Fika. Have you heard about it?

    1. Thank you so much! I’m very glad you said that – I’m determined to prove that we can find hygge anywhere, and it’s great to hear that it’s alive and well in the Caribbean!

I do know about fika, it’s so lovely!
